How it works Sign up at the tasting room or online and choose the tier that fits how Blackthorne is part of your life. Your membership starts with our next release — and each release comes with a pickup party at the winery, where you'll collect your allotment, enjoy a complimentary glass, and settle in for a bit. Can't make the party? No problem — we'll hold your wine and have it waiting, with a proper welcome, whenever you're next up at the lake. What we ask A one-year commitment. After that, membership renews automatically each year unless you choose to cancel. Wine allotments are prepared for pickup on release weekends and held for 90 days. Pickup only For now, all Blackthorne Club wine is picked up at the winery. This is a club built around the trip to Deep Creek, not around what arrives at your doorstep. We are considering adding shipping in the future based upon demand— but the trip is the point. Membership Terms & Payment Authorization Payment authorization. I authorize Blackthorne Cellars to charge the credit card provided for my membership allotment at each release, and for any additional purchases I authorize, according to the terms of my selected membership tier. I certify that I am an authorized user of this card. Membership term & renewal. Membership is a one-year commitment and renews automatically each year until canceled. To cancel, you must call or provide written notice (email: btclub@blackthornecellars.com) to Blackthorne Cellars at least 30 days before your renewal date. Membership is non-transferable. Releases & pickup. The Blackthorne Club issues four releases per year. My card will be charged for each release at the time it is issued. Allotments are held for pickup at the winery for 90 days from the release date. Blackthorne Cellars is not able to ship wine; all allotments are pickup-only. Unclaimed allotments. Allotments are held for pickup at the winery for 90 days from the release date. If your allotment has not been picked up within 90 days, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you and will hold your wine for an additional 30 days. Allotments not picked up within this grace period may be forfeited without refund. We would much rather get your wine into your hands — if you know you'll be delayed, just let us know and we'll work with you. Pricing. Prices are per release and are subject to applicable tax. Membership pricing and benefits are subject to change with notice; current-year pricing applies through your membership term. Member Discounts. Bottle-purchase discounts apply only to bottles purchased by the member and rung together on a single check. Discount tiers are based on the number of bottles in that transaction.
